Profound system level skills are the decisive factor to achieve SpaceTech’s main goal of designing and developing low cost, robust satellite systems. In order to maintain and expand these skills, hands-on experience in all system relevant technical areas is considered indispensable. This includes in particular direct knowledge and understanding of the performance and interfaces of satellite equipment as well as their impact on the system and mission design.

With the emphasis to enforce this knowledge base and to generally improve technological skills, SpaceTech has developed and delivered spacecraft assemblies and units in different engineering fields to venerable customers worldwide. This product range includes in particular

The solid system level expertise allows SpaceTech to offer to its customers pre-integrated and pretested assemblies, for example

• solar generator system for GökTürk-2 consisting of solar generator panels, deployment mechanisms and deployment actuator electronics
• primary structure and propulsion for Formosat-5
• primary structure and thermal system for S5p

The delivery of assemblies provides the unique advantage of relieving the system customer of the control for critical equipment-to-equipment interfaces within the pre-integrated assemblies.
